Candoni Pinot Grigio - Prosciutto wrapped Melon, Bel Paese Cheese and Crostini
True Earth Chardonnay - Pan Seared Diver Scallop served over Jasmine Rice with a Honey Ginger Glaze
Parducci Pinot Noir - Baby Spinach Salad tossed in a Raspberry Vinaigrette topped with slivered Almonds, House Smoked Salmon and a Goat Cheese Fritter
Frey Red Zinfandel - Bone In Pork Chop with a Red Wine Demi Glaze and Sweet Potato French Fries

Southaven- June Beer Tasting









I think tonight's Beer Tasting was a grand success! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the beer, of course! We had some new faces tonight, as well. It is always a very laid back atmosphere as you get to sample different beers paired with Josh Cobbs' wonderful menu and as always, Michael, our Sales Representative from Great River Beverages is on hand to discuss the finer points of the beers we are offering that evening. If you have not joined us for a Beer Tasting, our next one will be on July 16th. Here is what we tried tonight:


Foster's Lager- Coconut and Beer Battered Shrimp with a Citrus Glaze


Peroni- Antipasti Platter with Salami, Prosciutto, Capicola Ham, Mozzarella, Provolone,Pepperoncini, Roasted Red Peppers, and Kalamata Olives

Downtown - The Bride and the Mother-to-Be...





















The Mesquite Chop House Downtown recently hosted a combination bridal and baby shower. Ashlyn (the mother-to-be) and Brandy (the bride-to-be) were joined by friends and family in our downstairs dining room. The honorees were showered with gifts and celebrated the event with the incredible themed cakes pictured above. The staff and management of the Mesquite Chop House wishes them both the best at this exciting time in their lives!

Hope everyone had a fantastic Father's Day! We had a great turnout for Brunch and the Fathers got a special treat from the owners of Mesquite Chop House.....a pocket knife with our logo. Everyone who joined us yesterday really enjoyed the food and service. If you have not joined us for a Sunday Brunch, you really need to come see us! We offer Eggs Benedict, Omelettes and Belgian Waffles to order. Southaven - June Wine Tasting













What a great tasting we had tonight! Everyone raved about the food and the wine. Dan Michael, owner of D'Vine Wines & Spirits, who is the host for all of our Wine Tastings, was full of information about the four wines we tasted. You can always find all wine on our list at his store on Goodman Road. If you have never attended one of our Wine Tastings, you should come and check it out. These are informal tastings and Josh always puts together a great menu to pair with the wine selection.
