Southaven- Come and try our Infused Vodka!

Come and try our Flavor Infusions today!
Strawberry, Vanilla, Bell Pepper, Pineapple, Honeydew-Cantaloupe, Cherry and we will have Peach very soon!
Infusing your own Vodka is easy. Just fill a container with fruit and top with your favorite Vodka. Be sure to keep the fruit covered with the Vodka to prevent spoiling. When your Vodka has enough flavor, you can take the fruit out and pour the Vodka back into its original bottle. If you keep it refrigerated, it will last longer. Certain fruits like strawberry, orange and peach need a little simple syrup added to the mixture to bring out their natural flavor.

It Was Love at First Bite!!

“Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you I had no control over.”

We would like to congratulate the future Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wallace on their recent engagement. Here is the happy couple on their first date at the Downtown Mesquite Chop House one year ago. This past Thursday they came in to celebrate their one year anniversary and their engagement. We wish them a long and blissful life together.

Farm Fresh Vegetables are the Focus of June Wine Dinner at the Downtown Mesquite Cho[p House

Summer is around the corner and temperatures are rising in beautiful Downtown Memphis. Here at the Mesquite Chop House our summer plans are heating up as well. In the coming weeks we plan to unveil Chef Michael Patrick’s red-hot new summer dinner menu, his frugal yet filling lunch menu, and our new and improved Happy Hour.

We’re kicking off the summer season by hosting a four course vegetarian wine dinner Wednesday June 23 at 7p.m. Chef Patrick has diligently prepared a delightful menu using only the freshest vegetables available, and some of the featured vegetables will come from our farm in Holly Springs, Ms. The meal will be paired with wines from Canyon Road Winery and the cost is a mere $45.00 per person.

1st course: Garbanzo and Edamame Salad
Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, & Crispy Tofu with a Sherry-Walnut Vinaigrette
2nd course: Lima Bean Beignets
Green Tomato Chutney
3rd course: Hoppin John Vegetable Roll
Black Eyed Peas, Bell Peppers and Onions wrapped in Spinach
