This is Porter Allison with Star Distributors. Porter was our host for the August Wine Dinner, and what a dinner! We had a good mix of regulars and new faces this month. Check out the photos of the food below and we know you will want to join us in September.
Our first course was Sea Scallops marinated in a Orange and Lime Citrus toss with a mix of Avocado and Tomato Relish, served with Purple Corn Chips and Sirachi Aioli, Paired with Matanzas Creek Chardonnay.
Our Second course was a Heart of Romaine grilled and topped with Green Goddess Dressing, Bacon, Tomatoes and young Leeks. Paired with Conumdrum Chardonnay.
And the third a Pan Seared Paillard of Veal topped with Crawfish and Bearnaise Sauce, accompanied by grilled Asparagus and grilled Sweet Red Bell Peppers. Paired with Stags Leap Petite Syrah.
